Client Goals
CMP Attachments came to us with a large existing customer base built off of word of mouth regarding the strength and utility of their products. Because of this, most of their existing customers were around their home base in the Midwest. Their biggest goal was to expand their product line nationwide through search engine optimization and Google Ads.
Our Strategy
We started by researching CMP’s products in depth to learn why they are different from the competition. We then performed a competitor analysis to see what their competitors are doing from a web marketing standpoint and how we could make CMP Attachments stand out in search results. We developed a strategy to optimize their website for the types of grapples they offer, how users search for them and the applications they are using them for. This involved creating a network of pages focused on the products, the machines they fit and the applications they are used for. Over time, we have added these pages and optimized them with relevant content that includes the search terms customers are using.
Results
After the initial website re-index, CMP Attachments now enjoys page one exposure for many different variations of the keywords their customers are searching. They rank consistently in the top 3 for “Excavator Bypass Grapple” which is a high margin, high dollar amount product. We look forward to continuing our work for CMP and helping them expand across their product areas.
